This is a biosphere that me and my group made this biosphere which can support a group of people to live in space if ever needed because it has food, water, escape pods, first aid, toilet, social places and boy and girl dormitory.

Reflection:

This was not easy because it was hard to get what the panther (Khan) was not the main character so we didn't get to know too much about about Khan so that section was quite hard but the rest was easy.

Pirate Ship Net

This is my ship from a image on google of a cardboard pirate ship which we made from paper with glue, a pencil, scissors, rubber, ruler and protractor.

It was really hard because we didn't measure correctly sometimes, it was easy to make the shapes because we already planned it out, next time I will work on doing better measurements.

Diary Post 8

We have had lot's of amazing activities in term four like, building biospheres with big boxes, a brain break game our student teacher (Miss Terry) told us about called Toilet Flush Tag, Athletics (I failed to get into any) also we have done a narrative about a book we have been reading called between two ends.

In Between Two Ends, there is a boy called Yeats who goes into the world of 1001 Arabian Nights to rescue a person called Shari who went into the story 20 years ago, he meets many friends and enemies.

For Toilet Flush Tag what we do is tag each other (we are all taggers) and when we are tagged we make our hands like a scissor than another person (somebody who didn't tag you) has to come to you than push your hands down like he's flushing a toilet, than you go up and back in the game.

Athletics... I don't really like athletics but we had to participate so I did, I failed easily on softball throw and sprints, I did not bad on long jump but high jump... I like high jump the most but I failed... I am usually really good but for some reason I jumped too early and got out first which was really disappointing.

Show Don't Tell - Camp MERC

Reflection:
This was really hard at some parts and really easy at different parts of the writing.
The hard part was thinking of the "show" part of the plan, altogether I think I did quite well for this activity but next time I think I can do better by trying to remember events that happened so it's easier to retell the story.

Diary Post 7

Finally it is term 3 so now we will finally do things like camp!

Camp is the best thing that's going to happen, probably, and all the others are gonna end like speeches and cross country but camp is only 3 days (-_-)

What we have been doing is reading a new book called "A Wrinkle In Time", we have been doing activity's about the book too! For example we had to write a group document on what the main character so far (Meg) was like and we used a venn diagram to compare us to Meg (her name was not Meg, Meg was just short for her name).

We have been doing SDL (Student directed learning) in a new way by using "My Student Dashboard" our teacher (Mrs Graham)  sets us tasks with a set a time limit, sees when we finished it and checks it. So far we have done well using "My Student Dashboard" and figured out how to make groups and submit our work.

We have been practicing cross country every Tuesday and Thursday so we could get better and better, the best people at cross country get to go compete against other schools best runners and she which school will come out top. I think I might have a good chance at getting to be able to compete against other schools because I am a fast runner (kinda).

Another one of the best things is getting japanese buddies, I am a buddy but I don't know when they will come so all we can do is wait...

Diary Post 6

Around these times it's almost the end of the term 2 and I am quite happy that I don't have to do anymore work so now we had to do lots of things like planning speeches, reading the green book and doing art about the solar system.

For the art solar system we have been paper mashe which was when we get a item of the shape then glue lots of ripped strips of paper on to it to make a thing, my group is making Mars.

I am really looking forward reading the green book because so far it is really cool, basically a group of refugees go to a new planet because earth was gonna get destroyed but when they land on the new planet they face a new problem...

Speeches... (Sad face) one of my least favorite things, so for speeches I am gonna write about older siblings cause my brother is really annoying cause he always deletes my games and maybe he will delete some games in the weekends... Who knows.

Holiday AD

Last term we made ad of what we want to do for the holidays and this is the one me and Cameron.
We used a help from a "special" happy customer a.k.a a person in our class, it took us a while cause there was a technical difficulty where we couldn't record but it was fixed.

Dairy Post 5

In the last couple of weeks we have been doing lots of new things a agamographs, netball, SDL-Self Directed Learning, Terrific Tuesday and last but not least Agamographs.

Terrific Tuesday was when we chose a activity from a bunch of different ones and we chose what we wanted the most and what we wanted the least, I chose board games as my first choice and I got it! The First activity we did was a game called sequence which we played for the first 2 weeks, on the third week we played monopoly which was really fun because some people was really poor from buying too much stuff that they couldn't afford anything else so when a person landed on one of the best squares and they couldn't afford it. I just paied for it instead so they could have the building and I also didn't take the money back and just let them keep it. I missed week 4 because I was a netball field day which was really fun and for the rest of the weeks I played twister with some other people (friends) which was really funny.

Agamographs was when we made two pictures that was the opposite of the other one (except Quinn) who had a plus sign meaning combining to things and he made a Narwhal! He did unicorn plus Dolphin which made a Narwhal, anyway in the end both pictures had something similar or the same. If you looked at it from the right it would look like a picture, for example cookies and if you looked on the other side you might see a 800g bag of flour. I drew both the flour and cookies was to make my one. It was really fun because some of the art was funny, wierd and just plain original!  People thought mine was funny so I was pleased with that.

I think week nine or week eight is the last day of terrific Tuesday which is sad. So anyway it's almost school holidays at least, maybe something fun will happen ^_^ .
